The Wendland.Elbe Nature Park is home to several circular villages, such as Lübeln. These unique settlements are of Slavic-German origin and were founded in the 12th century. What makes them special is that they have only one access road to the central village square, around which the farms are arranged in a wedge shape. The church in Satemin was built in the 14th century from field stones, which, despite a later brick extension, determine the appearance of the church. It was first mentioned in 1313 in connection with a priest in Satemin. In the west, the church has a church tower made of field stones, which is provided with a supporting pillar and whose pyramid roof is covered with reddish roof tiles. Almost half of the masonry is made of brick. The interior of the church is covered with a flat barrel vault. The windows on the bell floor have pointed arches and segmental arches underneath.
