Lovely cycling route

A beautiful route along the Vecht River. Be careful, though, as there's construction going on along the quays.

Even in summer, I just had to wait now about 3 times of > 100 times passing this bridge, so much more likely not to wait than to do ;)

The bridge was renovated over a year ago, and it's now easier to pass each other if you're on it at the same time. The center of the bridge is a great spot to take a photo.

Always beautiful here

The quay was renovated at the end of 2021. A concrete walkway consisting of prefabricated panels was chosen as the top layer. Walking on the quay is now pleasant.

The provinces of North Holland, South Holland and Utrecht meet between De Kwakel in North Holland and Vrouwenakker in South Holland, on the border with Utrecht. To be precise, the three-province point is in the middle of the Amstel. The "Three province pole" was designed by students of the Ashram College, together with the Metal Trade School Nieuwkoop.
