The red stone on the traffic island On the way from the Kirchheim motorway exits towards Seepark Kirchheim, a striking red stone on a traffic island catches the eye. The background for this "work of art" can be seen with a wink. It all started in 2006 with an appeal from the two radio presenters Peter Lack and Markus Rudolph, who were responsible for the popular HR3 program 0138-6000 on Saturday afternoons. A competition was held to find a striking place that should be named after the presenters of the 0138-6000 show. Ruudi and LACKenegger Island The team at the Kirchheim Tourist Service suggested naming a (traffic) island after the presenters. A traffic island at the Kirchheim Triangle should be decorated with a memorial stone in the colors of the radio station HR3. With the active support of the Kirchheim residents and thousands of enthusiastic listeners, the traffic island in question won. The prize was an HR3 party with Peter Lack. And so on September 9, 2006, not only was a 24-hour highway festival celebrated in Kirchheim, but the red stone on the "Ruudi and LACKenegger Island" was also unveiled. The radio show 0138-6000 was discontinued in 2013, but the red stone on the traffic island at the Kirchheimer Dreieck is still there.

A circular path leads around the lake in the Ibratal and over the dam. The new fable path "Wupp die Kupp" begins at the Seepark Kirchheim car park. The R18 cycle path leads from Kirchheim to the Seepark.
