It is located near the highest point of the Feldberg and serves as a rescue and care station for mountain accidents. Hikers and skiers can receive help here in an emergency, and the station is also a contact point for the mountain rescue service, which is regularly active in the region.

The Feldberghaus is a cozy inn with a rustic wooden facade. It offers traditional inn culture and timeless cuisine at the highest level. The beer garden is a popular meeting place for hikers and day-trippers who want to recharge their batteries after a hike and enjoy the breathtaking view of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main plain.

The Limes playground is located on a 1650 square meter meadow area between the TV tower, the Feldberghaus and the falconry. The playground was generously expanded in autumn 2022 and offers numerous play elements that recreate the Roman era, such as a Roman palisade as a climbing wall, double and nest swings, a climbing course with balancing elements and two towers connected by a suspension bridge.
