The windmill is situated on the heath next to the Thorpeness Meare and the "House in the Clouds". It is a prominent landmark that can be easily viewed from various walking trails in the area, such as the path from Aldeburgh.

Two fab-looking old buildings on the seafront of Aldeburgh, I only walked by and did not stop. Love seeing these types of structure, not one part of them look straight, a DIY'ers nightmare.

If you fancy turning up the heat, you can enter the Snape playing fields and do some extra laps. It's also a great place to do some strength training mid-run.

Snape Warren, a nature reserve abundant with grassland, heath, and scrub, serves as a vibrant habitat for various bird species, including the elusive nightjar. A grassy footpath leads you through the reserve, where you can enjoy the finest vistas of both the coastline and the neighboring wetlands.

Sizewell Beach, located on the stunning Suffolk coastline, is a wonderful place to refresh and refuel on your run. Cool off with a swim in the sea, relax on the grassy banks, or grab yourself a coffee or snack at the beach café.

Blaxhall Common or Heath is an area of heathland surrounded by Tunstall forest. It's a nature reserve and SSSI. Rare butterflies including the Silver-studded blue are found here as well as Nightjars, Woodlark and Adders.
