A sprawling 3,700-acre (1,500 ha) mixed woodland, Rendlesham Forest is owned and managed by Forestry England. There are plenty of trails here for walkers and cyclists, with picnic spots and sculptures to discover. Rendlesham Forest is famous for a supposed UFO sighting in December 1980. There's even a UFO trail, boasting a large model of an alien spacecraft.

Always sandy, always stunning, sometimes rideable, and sometimes you get to see the friendly goats in the adjacent pasture.

Very sandy segment - more a walk in dry spells

Containing both Woodbridge Airfield and barracks, MoD Woodbridge takes up a large area in the centre of the sprawling Rendlesham Forest. Originally cut from the forest during the Second World War to create RAF Woodbridge, today it is often the site of Army Air Corps helicopter training exercises.

Had real problems with sandy track's. Especially from Ramsholt to Rendlesham carpark.

Unless you're driving a tractor or maybe riding a fat bike, you'll be hike-a-biking this section. Deep sand and a hill make this a real challenge to ride or push!
