Lovely rapeseed fields depending on the time of year. Useful path to take you toward lots of potential country paths to explore.

Following the Black Death, the village was abandoned, and the church stood empty for centuries. In 1990 Doug Chapman, a chartered surveyor who had worked at Canterbury Cathedral, purchased the church and began restoring the building, originally with the intention of turning it into a weekend home. Since 1999 it has been licensed as a civil wedding venue.

Two sculptures stand tall either side of the pathway, creating a lovely scene as you make your way through the park.

A former farm, it was reopened as a large open-space recreational area in 2007, with areas being developed as new wildlife habitats

There is a nice picnic area to the side of the lake with tables and benches.

From the top of the hill overlooking the countryside, the view was breathtaking and I will certainly return again in the summer.

Beautiful big apple orchard - wonderful part of the walk.
