Right next to the old moated castle, the Protestant community also erected its church around 1750. The typical Protestant pulpit altar was taken from a previous building, with the Renaissance pulpit itself dating from 1599. The church houses the crypt of the stewards of Pommersfelden, who ruled here until 1710. Around 200 people can be accommodated in this church with its gallery.
