Ok but the hill climb is a bit taxing

Ideal spot to enjoy a peaceful village. Café with a great selection. Nice to sit down next to the beautiful river.

Kersey is a small, yet charming village in Suffolk, known for the famous "kersey cloth", its picturesque streets and colourful homes.

With many listed buildings and surrounded by the exquisite countryside of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there's plenty to see around the village of Stoke-by-Nayland. This is in the heart of Constable country, a region made famous by John Constable's paintings. St Mary's Church, with its 126-foot (36 m) tower, features in several of the great landscape artist's works. You will find food, drink and accommodation and the Angel Inn and the Crown.

Fast down the high street and straight through the ford at the bottom! It’s only an inch or two deep in the summer but in winter after rain you might be better using the bridge if you’re on road tyres.

Beautiful, popular with visitors but somehow unspoiled.

Very pretty Suffolk village. Extreme caution if you’re thinking of riding through the ford, it gets very slippery. My advice is to use the foot bridge!
