Great starting point for the Tregler Alm

It's really rooty, and if it's rained, it's also really slippery. If you like that: a carpet of roots at its finest, but not too steep.

Unfortunately it was closed when I visited. The chapel is in urgent need of renovation. Greenery is already growing out of the window in the tower. The entrance to the chapel is also becoming increasingly overgrown.

Invites you to take a short break with a few animals for the children and a small self-service machine.

Former school camp of the city of Munich, today used by the Association for Youth and Family Support (http://vjf-ev.de/alm/). Benches and tables as well as a rest area can still be used by passing hikers. The area is located directly below the Schwarzenberg at 1130m.

Smaller peak on the northern edge of the Mangfall Mountains near Hundham, but also easy to reach from Bad Feilnbach. Nice trail run (warning: some of the paths are quite muddy) possible over the mountain paths.

I had already gone to the Schwarzenberg on New Year's Day 2023, very quiet and very idyllic, quite comfortable hike. Now I thought, in spring it must also be very beautiful, when everything is green and blooming, the climb is quite easy, mostly wide, solid forest paths, a very beautiful section through the forest, once you get to the top there is a wonderful view of our local mountains, Breitenstein, Wendelstein, Bockstein etc., the summit was so crowded after 15 minutes that I then started the way back.

You can also sit there and get drinks from a fridge.
