The Seven Springs are located near Eschenlohe in the Loisach Valley on the northeastern edge of the Pfrühlmoos. The spring pond of the Seven Springs is particularly idyllic, with several strong springs emerging from it.

This text can be found on the attached plaque, very informative and helpful! John of Nepomuk was born around 1350 in Pomuk near Pilsen/Czech Republic. As vicar general of the Prague bishop, he became involved in political disputes with the Bohemian King Wenceslas IV. According to legend, he refused to break the seal of confession and was drowned in the Vltava in 1393. As the patron saint of sailors and raftsmen, he stands on bridges to protect against water hazards. This modern Nepomuk figure by Wolfgang Wright from Kiefersfelden was inaugurated in 2008. Very beautiful, idyllic section of this route. The peace and quiet and the great view, I think, are what make this wonderful landscape so appealing.
