Great views across Dedham Vale

A Dunwich Dynamo fixture. They serve hot food outside and the queues here are always huge! 16 miles to the next significant stop on the Dunwich Dynamo. If you are ride planning your DD fuelling / drinking strategy, then consider the McDonalds just out of Sudbury (it's on the route).

Has a farm shop for a quick pit stop as well as the full cafe.

Lovely pub! Re: DUNWICH DYNAMO: They operated a basic barbecue (2023). Be warned, one of the longest and busiest on the route. (re-confirmed this in 2024) BUT it's the last significant stop for a little while. Enjoy the break here. Typically quite cold at the point you reach this on the Dunwich Dynamo.

Kersey is a small, yet charming village in Suffolk, known for the famous "kersey cloth", its picturesque streets and colourful homes.

Hours have extended a bit but still very limited - open until 1pm Thu-Sun but if you’re here after lunch or at the start of the week you’re out of luck. Definitely catering for the weekend morning club rides!

Coffee & Cake! Ideal cycling pit stop

Secluded restricted byway where you pass the well-hidden Elmsett airfield. Very overgrown but passable if you keep ducking your head

One of England's finest medieval towns. It is noted for its splendid 15th Century timber framed Guildhall. There is also good selection of cafes available, to pick up some refreshments

If you like sour beers then get down there asap

Not only a great name for a road, but a testing little climb. Peaks at around 9% so a good test of the legs without being too tough.

Great cooked breakfast with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Tucked away free house & a CAMRA staple adjacent to a craft brewery. Has its own campsite - perfect for bikepackers.

Combine this with nearby Blood Hill for a couple of testing ascents.

There are a handful of steep hills towards the end, so be prepared for low gears and heavy breathing
