The Nebelhorn cable car in Oberstdorf is one of the most famous mountain railways in the Allgäu region and a perfect starting point for spectacular mountain panoramas and varied hikes 🚠🏔️.

Here, at the Sturmannshöhle cave, are the "Wild Maidens": Sluzze Muzz, Tschudre Mudre, Ringgede Bringge, and Maringga. They are considered the oldest inhabitants of the Alps, dating back to a time long before Christianization. Information panels explain these and other legends depicted along the Legends Trail.

The summit of the Nebelhorn is usually crowded with people for the obligatory photo with the summit cross at 2,224 m. When there's no fog, there's a fantastic panoramic view! 😄
