ネルトリンゲンのおすすめランニングルート

ネルトリンゲンのバルディンガー・トーは、5つの歴史的な市門の一つで、1376年に初めて言及されました。ヴュルツブルクとフランクフルト・アム・マインの方向への道を確保し、中世の市壁の一部でした。前衛的な構造物は1406年にマイスター・ヴェンツェスラウスによって完成され、1430年には石工コンラート・ステンクリンの指揮下で再建されました。 元々、門の構造はベルガー・トーに似ていました。ほぼ正方形の前衛的な構造物を持つ、長方形の主門建築です。塔は5階建てで、砲撃用の胸壁とテント屋根を持つ円形の頂部構造を備えていました。三十年戦争中に門は損傷し、1703年には不十分な修理が原因で塔が予期せず崩壊しました。この事故で5人が死亡しました。

2025年3月より、ハールブルク近郊で人気の「Waldgastätte Eisbrunn」を経営していた新しいテナントが入ります。

Nördlingen is surrounded by Germany's only completely preserved city wall that can be walked all around. A walk along the 2.7 kilometer long fortifications offers a wonderful view of the medieval streets. Anyone who climbs the "Daniel" - the bell tower of the late Gothic St. George's Church - has a wonderful panoramic view over the city and the Ries, a meteorite crater that was formed around 14.5 million years ago. To this day, the watchman on the "Daniel" calls his watchman's call "So G'sell so" over the city all year round.

Right next to the gate there is a staircase to the walkable city wall of Nördlingen. (about 2.5 km long around the city).
