St. Michael's Church is one of the oldest in the region

Prethalmühle 2 is located about 1.8 kilometers south of Altdorf directly on the Schwarzach and opposite the mill. It was a former inn from 1643. The house, which is worth seeing, is a listed architectural monument.

Lower Gate (Palatinate Gate) The gate guarded the eastern entrance to Altdorf's main street, where there was an important market mentioned as early as 1368. The views at different times are also presented on the information board at the gate. The sight is still impressive today. There is even a wooden gate in the archway.

Altdorf near Nuremberg, the beautiful half-timbered and sandstone-built old town in Middle Franconia, at an altitude of 450m at the foot of the Hegnenberg, once a well-supplied hop-growing area. Always worth a trip, with its great market square, many restaurants, ice cream parlors, beer gardens, located directly south-east of Nuremberg in the direction of Regensburg.
