You can hike endlessly on both sides of the Thur river. With your dog and family.

A visit to the city center won't be too far off now. So, I've just completed a tour of the old town, complete with some lovely photos. I managed to do this all within 25 days, as it was a spontaneous trip and there was so much to see.

A lovely bistro on the Thur River with friendly service. A wide selection of food and drinks, including a changing daily menu, is available year-round. The bistro can also be reserved for events.

A very pretty little town on the Thur River. Definitely worth a visit. It has several self-service shops open 24/7 with regional products.

Very friendly staff and plenty of seating, both inside and outside. A large selection of ice cream, cakes, and drinks. Dogs are also welcome here 😊

🌿 The Äuli Gorge in Lichtensteig – pure nature in Toggenburg! Turquoise water, mossy rocks, and mystical legends like the Äuli Dog 👻 await you. The perfect place to dive, hike, or simply marvel.

You are also very welcome here with your dog and the Schlorzifladen tastes simply delicious (it comes from the Abderhalden bakery). A nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and everything very clean. A small side note: self-service
