The Freudenberger bathing lake is a natural bathing lake that was created from gravel mining between 1964 and 1966. Then everything was left to nature. Several springs from the nearby heights of the Odenwald filled the lowlands to form a 2 hectare lake and continue to feed it today, so that the water in the lake is constantly subject to a slow exchange and is regularly checked.
