Beautiful path from Falera to Ladir, very popular hiking trail.

Town fountain, Landsgemeindeplatz / Plazza Cumin, Ilanz The town fountain on the Landsgemeindeplatz provides refreshment in the summer. Parish Church of the Assumption of Mary, Ilanz All three altars of the church were replaced during the renovation in 1954 by purchasing altars from other churches that were no longer needed. The two side altars were originally part of the Müstair monastery church. The main altar was bought by the Rueun parish and the tabernacle by Siat. Parish Church of the Assumption of Mary, Ilanz from 1879 The Catholic Parish Church of the Assumption of Mary is located in the center of Ilanz, near today's Landsgemeindeplatz. From 1877 to 1879, the Catholic parish had its own church built and soon after, its own cemetery. The Church of the Assumption of Mary and the rectory were built outside the walls of the town as part of the constantly growing "new town". The 1900 census showed a Catholic majority in the population for the first time. In 1954, more space was created for the growing parish, the church, originally built in the neo-Gothic style, was thoroughly renovated and equipped with baroque altars. As you cycle along the scenic roads around Lake Cauma, you will be treated to breathtaking views from the south of the turquoise lake, surrounded by lush green forests and rugged mountain peaks. The water’s vibrant colour is due to its unique mineral composition.
