Great selection of cakes. Rustic dining room with ancient gas lighting on the ceiling, as the Fraunhäusel is not connected to the electricity grid. Very nice service! 🍀😃

From up here you have a wonderful view of the riverbed of the Danube. The rock formations and river gorges formed by nature are a spectacular sight, a very beautiful natural phenomenon.

The tower was built in 1476 from the remains of the old ducal castle. It served as the outer fortification of the city. The name is probably derived from the residential area of the knife grinders or from its origin, the grinding of the old castle. In 1931, the war memorial was housed in the tower.
