If you drive from Weingarten towards Zogenweiler and have kids in tow, you should definitely make a short detour to the Adelmühle. Not only that you can hike here wonderfully and climb up secret steps on a mountain spur where a ring castle used to stand - here there is also a wondrous tree on the side of the path. The special feature: water gushes out of it day and night - as if by magic.

Also a nice round with a dog, you should only be safe here on the narrow descent. I think it's great when you're close to nature. However, I wouldn't drive that far for this.
