A great route on hot days with shady passages and sunny sections.

I particularly liked the part of the Lonetal cycle path from Westerstetten

Not only does it connect two beautiful sections of the route, but it also blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings. The bridge offers a picturesque view of the Lonegraben and is a great place to pause and enjoy nature.

The Historische Wässre (Historic Water Reservoir) is a fascinating water reservoir that was once used for irrigating and fertilizing meadows. It has been faithfully recreated with great attention to detail.

With its striking rock formations and a small cave along the way, it offers not only a picturesque backdrop but also a touch of adventure.

The Fohlenhaus Stone Age Cave in the Lone Valley is a fascinating destination for nature and history enthusiasts. This impressive karst cave once served as a shelter for Stone Age people and today offers a glimpse into times long past. With its distinctive shape and special charm, it exudes a sense of mysticism.

On this side of the Lone there is a beautiful gravel path, partly along the stream and the shady edge of the forest. Better for hikers than the boring asphalt path on the north side.
