The Höllbachaue landscape park is a very beautiful local recreation area in the municipality of Leutenbach. It features Kneipp pools, small lakes, wooden boardwalks, and marble runs for children.

A very beautiful view of Hanweiler all the way to Haselstein. Particularly charming in autumn.

What was Winnenden's former name? In 1525, it was called Bürg, and in 1624, Altwinnenden. Altwinnenden Castle was the seat of the Lords of Winnenden before it became part of Württemberg. Initially, the town, along with the settlements of Schulerhof and Stöckenhof, belonged to the municipality of Baach. In 1686, the town was called Bürck bey Bach.

The old railway freight shed has been lovingly restored and converted into a fire department museum. It has existed since 1963 and has been located in this building since 2002. An extension was added in 2013. The fire department museum is well worth a visit! It features several special exhibits, including the largest collection of fire department helmets in Germany.

Founded in 1963 from an initial exhibition, the museum is now housed in a listed goods shed dating back to 1875, which has housed the impressive collection since 2002. In a harmonious ambience of historic wooden construction and modern architecture, numerous exhibits invite visitors to discover the development of firefighting technology. Since 2013, a modern extension has complemented the exhibition, offering even more space to bring the history of the fire service to life. ...the "Hanweiler Sattel" hiking parking lot near "Korb" in the Rems-Murr district, Baden-Württemberg. - Good starting point for hikes, including the "RemstalWeg" trail and the "Red Grape" and "Red Cross" trail markers. - Very (!) busy in good weather or on weekends. If you can plan ahead, avoid weekends (!). - Popular excursion destination/popular recreation area for mountain bikers, walkers, and hikers. - Parking lot sometimes overcrowded on weekends (2025).
