The arboretum has 20 exotic tree species from Asia and North America, as well as some native trees. Interesting facts about the tree species are provided on a circular path using 25 information boards.

Really interesting, you can learn and discover a lot and the whole fairy trail is very cool to walk. 🌿

Officially, only the two viewpoints of the waterfalls are still accessible (03/24). The alternative route leads unimaginatively on a wide forest path through the forest - with no view of the gorge. In my opinion, the community simply lacks the money to maintain the paths and bridges in the gorge. Then a ban on passage is issued (...to protect nature) so that you are free from liability.

It's better to travel by public transport. For hikers an ideal starting point for many a great tour in the Swabian Forest. The Murrhardt stop is on the Stuttgart - Nuremberg railway line and can usually be reached every hour. To be found directly at the bus stop: a number of hiking routes with maps of the area and with various tour suggestions that focus on the Swabian Forest around Murrhardt. There is also a bicycle shop at the train station - for the last check before the bike tour.
