The hammer mill, which was acquired by the city of Kornwestheim at the end of 2008, offers demonstrations by prior arrangement. These demonstrations vividly illustrate how iron was shaped and worked, and how, many years ago, tools were produced at this very location that made everyday life easier.

Unfortunately, the Kneipp pool is no longer a Kneipp pool. Recently there was often very little water and when there was, it was very warm in the summer. There were also lots of amphibians. For nature conservation reasons, it has now been converted into a natural pond. It is fenced off. When I get the chance, I will attach photos of this no-longer highlight here.

Only the foundation walls of the former Engelburg can be seen here. However, you also have a very nice view over the Neckar valley from up here.

Beautiful lake, with plenty of space for a picnic. No bathing lake, but suitable for pedaling.
