This chapel of thanksgiving, dedicated to the Mother of God, was built in 1946 from stones from the former Eutingen military airfield. The forest chapel is a popular destination, not only for the Christians of Baisingen.

The image of Moses with the commandments is wonderful

Parking for approximately five cars is available behind the cemetery. Officially, however, it's only for cemetery visitors.

Mentioned since 1568, it's special because it was used jointly by both Protestant and Roman Catholic congregations. Such a church is called a Simultaneum.

The church has a very beautiful interior and ceiling paintings

Unfortunately, it was closed during my visit. But it's also very attractive from the outside, with a remarkable memorial plaque commemorating the soldiers of Eutingen who fell in the First World War.

I don't know where the "Königsdorf" (royal village) comes from - in any case, it is a very beautifully designed Stations of the Cross, along which the fallen are also remembered.

It is a gravel farm track - like many others.
