Cyclist friendly community owned cafe. Good facilities and outdoor seating for the good weather. plenty of space for bikes.

At Marsh Benham, the Kennet and Avon canal passes through Hamstead Lock, a pretty section of the canal with a bench overlooking the water. It makes a nice picnic or rest spot. If you head north a few hundred metres up Milkhouse Road you'll also find the Red House pub.

Classic rolling Chiltern roads - never flat and never easy, but with beautiful views on all sides. Be wary if it has rained recently, as these lanes tend to get washed with stones, flint and all manner of puncture causing suspects!

A magnificent lane that undulates through open countryside and provides some stunning and expansive views. There's also a really fun descent into East Isley.

Great cafe lots of choice from breakfast, cakes, and snacks. Garden seating where you can keep an eye on the bikes too.

Its a challenging climb to the top, but well worth it when you are there for the views and the ride down the other side!

Avoid this if you can. You can buy coffee/food here but they won’t let you drink it outside. The lady was quite rude as well, saying we had to leave with no reason/explanation
