Lovely tree-lined path between the 2 nature reserves

Upon reaching this point, you'll come across a small wooden bridge that crosses The Cut River. Besides being a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy your surroundings, on warm and sunny days, you can even dip your legs in the river for some refreshing relief.

Leaving behind Maidenhead Road, this peaceful path will keep you alongside the Birds Hill Golf Course the entire way. The segment ends just before crossing The Cut River, where you can choose from several directions.

The church before you is a Grade II listed building with almost a thousand years of history, as its construction began in 1135 during the reign of King Stephen. Although locally it is known as St. Michael the Archangel, the church was dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels.

At this point, you have to choose between a convenient bridge or getting your feet wet to cross The Cut river. Jokes aside, apart from being a beautiful spot to catch your breath and enjoy nature, if the weather is favorable, you can even cool your legs.

Challenge yourself and enjoy this beautiful and peaceful stretch along Penny's Lane, which runs mostly alongside the Birds Hill Golf Course and allows for comfortable running.

This beautiful Warfield church has a history that spans over a millennium, as the origins of this historic building date back to 1016. To add to its significance, it's likely that the location itself was a place of worship as early as around 800 AD.

Maybe not the most picturesque, but definitely fun to ride - providing you've not got a headwind!
