The rest of the walk is good , however I would recommend a different route for this section. Use either of the roads. The footpath disappears and before it does it entails a walk through a horses field , duck under electric fence and fight your way through stingers.

This charming duck pond is nestled in the picturesque village of Willoughby. A nearby bench offers a perfect place to rest and recharge, and just a short stroll away is The Rose Inn, a lovely village pub.

Mix of gravel and tarmac surface unclassified country roads, be mindful to close gates behind you livestock roaming in the area

Gravel & broken concrete & the odd sheep.

Rugged track between Braunston and the abandoned medieval village of Wolfhampcote. St Peter's church here holds no services, but is maintained by a trust.

Decent tow path, can be uneven and muddy.
