Amazing stop for pizza. Bike racks, outside and inside seating and good service

A hidden gem of a cafe. Monster sized cakes and buns, savoury and sweet options, fridges full of drinks, big bottles of water, and seating outside. Shhh - don't tell everyone, keep it a secret

A legendary village sign put up by locals years ago. Worth a pilgrimage to, or at least a photo to say you’ve been there!

Holy Trinity is a Grade I listed building. This Romanesque church dates back to the 12th century (at least the preserved parts of it do). The tower has 8 bells, the south porch has Buckinghamshire's oldest doors (apparently!), and fragments of medieval paintings and 16th century texts are on the walls.

Possible coffee spot before tackling Watlington Hill

Great pit stop that has a car park - they sell coffee in compostable cups, and they have a great selection of ales and wood fired pizza. The perfect accompaniment either pre or post hike!

This is perhaps my favourite stretch of South Oxfordshire country lanes: Lovely countryside, great views and, for the most part good road surfaces.
