チョーリーウッドのおすすめランニングルート

リックマンズワース・アクアドロームは、41ヘクタールに及ぶ公共公園であり、受賞歴のある地元の自然保護区です。敷地内には、元のウェンブリー・スタジアムが建設されたかつての砂利採取場からできた3つの人工湖（バッチワース湖、ベリー湖、ストッカーズ湖）と、グランド・ユニオン運河へのアクセスがあります。主な施設には、「カフェ・イン・ザ・パーク」、子供の遊び場、屋外フィットネスエリア、広大なウォーキングトレイルがあります。公園は通年営業しており、無料駐車場があります（ただし、週末は混雑することがあります）。

Parkrun here every Saturday 9am, get there by 8.30am or the car park gets tricky. All other times the parking is easy 😉

Frogmore Meadows nature reserve is an 11 acre SSSI next to the River Chess. The marshy, grassland habitat are home to water voles, and plants such as meadow foxtail and Yorkshire fog, with some marsh marigold and marsh bedstraw. Lots of butterflies are also resident here. The Chess Valley long distance walking path comes through the nature reserve and there are watercress beds to the east.

A perfect rural river setting with a wooden bridge and a lovely mix of grasses and trees, all coloured with nature's palette. Catching the flow at its highest makes for an even more stunning setting!

As I came round the corner, it looked like the path would be flooded but there's a narrow "bridge" passage across this busier part of the river. Take a moment to gaze downstream and be transported back to a simpler time.

I couldn't work out how to work the tap - maybe it doesn't work or maybe I'm a complete idiot!!

Haven't tried the coffee yet but the Alpaca are good.
