In 1999, 10 years after the fall of the "Iron Curtain", part of the barbed wire fence was rebuilt at the Guglwald border crossing in the municipality of Schönegg. Seven display boards deal with this dark part of European history. The memorial in Guglwald is intended to commemorate the once divided Europe. (Source: www.mühlviertel.at)
