This is a fabulous walk. Feels as though you are in the middle of nowhere but it’s easy to park and get to this walk

The Dream Bean Cafe Ltd is a great place to stop for a coffee and cake or a more substantial meal. Plenty of outside seating with inside seating in one of the barns

just riding this parallel to the road on the way to preston is nice too, gentle and flat but more interesting through the woods

The walk is varied (woods and fields and up and down) with some stunning sights plenty of wildlife a tea shop a shop and a few pubs Great way to spend 2 to 2.5 hours

Just out of Great Offley to the east, this lovely stretch along Aldwick's Plantation (with some bluebells in the spring and summer months on the way), is a lovely and peaceful way to walk. The plantation's trees block the noise of the A505 just to the north of you, and there are soothing open views of the surrounding countryside ahead of you and to the south.

Whitwell is a charming village located near Harpenden in Hertfordshire. It's a great place to stop and refuel during a run. You can visit The Bull Inn for a refreshing drink, or Emily's Tea Room and grab yourself some delicious cakes or coffee.

Nice pub/restaurant for sit down meal or quick pint.
