Random village pub, no reason to stop.

War Memorial on former airfield worth a few minutes stop.

Really cycling-friendly cafe: good food and coffee, drinking water tap, bike racks with plenty of space. Only thing I'd say is that the portions are a little small for the price.

It’s good. Coffee is excellent as is the sausage rolls.

carrot cake is particularly excellent.

Crosses over the trackbed of the old Oxbridge railway line. Real boneshaker of a surface on this lane. Take care, particularly if riding it downhill.

Perfect cyclists' (and walkers') cafe. Great coffee. Even better sausage rolls. Good local roads.

A nice section of relatively quiet road north of Lilley. It's undulating rather than hilly and very nice to avoid the busy A6 or A505 which I wouldn't recommend.

Pleasant if unexceptional little village. There's a pub but no cafe or shop.

Random and cool little Windmill at the top of this climb

10% average maybe. My Garmin registers 15% on the steepest bit. Thankfully short.

On-site Cafe, Butchery, Farm shop and of course, a Cheese deli. I had a lovely latte and home made Victoria sponge. Looking at the menu it caters for breakfast and lunch. Closed Monday and Tuesday

"The 17th century windmill is owned by Cambridgeshire County Council and is the fifth oldest post mill in the country. The mill is a scheduled monument, one of 15 monuments owned by the County Council. Post mills are one of the earliest types of windmill and are based around a central pole, which meant they could be turned to catch the breeze." Something to enjoy 👀 - if it was working in a day like today with SW 🌬 @27 km/h would b efficient. (Not great for cycling, though).

A quiet lane with a generally good surface, occasional potholes but you can find a fast pothole free line.

Fantastic café stop. Really cycle friendly. Good prices.

Great view, great descent and if you like climbs, makes a challenging one!
