Great spot to spend an hour or two. Plenty of wildlife to see and the museum has a cafe with rather unique decoration that's worth visiting.

Wardown Park is the jewel in the crown of Luton’s parks with outstanding features, such as the fountain and boating lake, and a rich history. It is one of seven district parks in Luton, providing a green refuge within walking distance of the town centre. The park provides the setting for Wardown Park Museum and offers a wide range of opportunities for formal and informal recreational activities. The historic significance of the park is acknowledged by its inclusion as Grade II on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens, particularly due to the rarity of the combination of Victorian and Edwardian purpose-built design features that make-up the Park.

A real cyclists’ place, run by keen riders themselves. And the pizzas are epic - it beat me.

If you’re there Tue-Sat try Quotidian, right at the end of Sun Street (off the Market Square) for amazing coffee and delicious pastries!

A quiet lane with a generally good surface, occasional potholes but you can find a fast pothole free line.

Whitwell is a charming village located near Harpenden in Hertfordshire. Stop at the Bull Inn for a refreshing drink, or visit Emily's Tea Room and grab yourself some delicious cakes or coffee.

Great little Cafe with very friendly owners. 25% off drinks if you come on two wheels!. Breakfast, good coffee, cakes, lunch items and great pizza! Worthwhile a little detour!

Handy spot for a coffee and cake although the cycle parking is not great but some outside seats to keep an eye on your bike

Flat section, great views either side. Would be a good sprint section, if i could sprint!

A good climb if heading south, but a much better descent if heading north from Luton or Dunstable. Enjoy the view as you fly down the hill!
