Ayot Greenway is a wonderful off-road link out of Welwyn Garden City toward the Chilterns, which can be subsequently combined with The Nickey Line.

Pleasant, atmospheric, v old pub, complete with some animal enclosures. Enjoyed a nice meal there.

Beautiful church and area - great gravel trails around here

Shallow bridge across the river Lea. A great place to paddle on extremely hot days - no better way to cool down mid ride!

It's quite hilly!

This path links Shaw Corner to the Ayot Greenway. It isn't that muddy in the wet.

Part of the Ayot Greenway. one of the many excellent cycle paths in the area. It doesn't get too muddy in the wet.

This path follows the Lea River valley all the way to Luton. It's a bit muddy this end in winter.
