The way from Zierleseck to the summit was very good, the way back towards Schattwald was strenuous as there was a lot of scree 😢

A nice paved path with a few meters of elevation gain, but the view is very good.

From the parking lot at Haldensee on the west side, you have a wonderful view towards Haller on the northeast side, over the lake and the mountain walls and peaks of Schartschrofen, Gimpel, Rote Flüh and, a little further away, the Hahnenkamm. You can continue to enjoy this view if you follow the footpath on the left or right side of the road to Haller and Nesselwängle. From here you also have a beautiful view in the other direction to Tannheim, including the Einstein; you cannot see Tannheim itself. You also have a great view of and over the lake from the more shady south side.
