The southernmost peak of the ridge and the end of the long climb when taking the high trail from Scharnitz.

Technically speaking, the summit is not difficult to reach, but the path is long from all directions and (except via the high trail) also steep.

The view is beautiful, but there is nothing to climb here.

From here, most climbers descend to the hut from the north. From Mittenwald/Scharnitz, the climb can be reached in just over two hours with sufficient fitness, although for many, it will probably take more than three or four hours.

Often skipped on the way between Tiroler Hütte and Brunnsteinspitze, but worth it for the view and if you're already up here, it's almost no extra effort.

It's essentially the beginning/end of the Mittenwald High Trail. It's steep and long on every side except for the ridge, but it's worth it because it's almost never as crowded as the via ferrata.
