Then you can see how the city nestles gently into the valley, framed by the impressive peaks of the Nordkette in the background. Especially in the evening, when the sun sets and the golden light bathes the city and the surrounding mountains in warm light, the view is almost like a painting. The Nordkette seems almost close enough to touch, its snow-capped peaks towering proudly into the sky, offering a fascinating contrast to the city. Especially in the early morning hours or at sunset, the view seems almost magical – the warm light over Innsbruck and the dramatic mountain formations in the background create an incomparable atmosphere of peace and grandeur. From here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view in all directions: To the north stretches the imposing Nordkette massif, its rugged peaks shining in brilliant white or deep gray depending on the season.
