Lake Natterer See is a picturesque natural lake west of Natters, just a few kilometers from Innsbruck. Nestled among rolling hills and dense forests, it offers an idyllic setting for relaxation and leisure activities. In summer, the lake is a popular destination for bathing, swimming, and sunbathing. The water is clear and warms up pleasantly in the warmer months. Around the lake, there are lawns, jetties, and a large water sports facility with slides, a water trampoline, and stand-up paddleboard rentals. The lake is part of the Natterer See holiday paradise, an award-winning campsite with modern accommodations, a restaurant, and numerous recreational opportunities. In addition to traditional pitches, there are also luxury mobile homes, sleeping barrels, and safari tents. Even outside of the bathing season, the lake is a popular spot for walks, jogging, or simply relaxing in nature. In winter, when it's cold enough, the lake sometimes freezes over and becomes a natural ice skating rink. An idyllic place that delights both nature lovers seeking peace and quiet and active visitors!

The Kreuzjochbahn runs in two sections from the valley via the middle station to the Kreuzjoch mountain station and the Schlick 2000 ski area. Many different hiking tours are possible from both the middle station and the mountain station. Summer opening times: May - October, winter opening times: December - April

A little further from Gasthof Vergör is the Gschmitz natural wonder. It's a 20-30 minute walk and definitely worth a detour.
