The bridge was built in 1961 and has a length of 335 meters. The bridge has four lanes, two pedestrian paths and a cycle path1. The panorama of the Laira bridge is very beautiful, especially at sunset or sunrise. You can admire the view of the river, the old railway bridge and the surrounding buildings and forests from the bridge or from a walking path or cycle path along the river bank.
