The Quartier Severin is an older but beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Berwang with good food and very friendly hosts and staff. 👍 We felt very comfortable!

On some days you can see chamois. I was up there in the last week of February 2025. There was still snow. The way up was OK. Going back down was more difficult. The snow was soft and you slip easily. So be careful, also because the paths up there are very narrow.

We actually made it up 💪🏼It was a strenuous climb but was rewarded with an amazing view. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay at the summit cross for long because we would have been eaten by mosquitoes. A narrow path leads over the ridge to the cross. Personally, I had to struggle a bit with my fear of heights. Just keep going straight and enjoy the view when you reach the end 😍
