There was relatively heavy traffic, including heavy goods vehicles, and an unbraked 40-ton truck overtook me with less than 1 meter of clearance. I'm annoyed that I ignored a friend's advice to use the Sölk Pass.

From the last paid parking lot (€5 only in coins) in Triebental it is an easy hike

Nice little alpine hut where you are always welcome.

In winter, the hut owner rents out sledges for sledding down the toll road. We heard that this is a lot of fun for visitors. Unfortunately, last winter 6 sledges were missing and visitors simply took them.

Idyllic mountain lake. Ideal for refreshing your feet in cold water after a strenuous run.
