After years of construction of the railway underpass in Raaba, this section is now complete. The newly constructed cycle/pedestrian path is very comfortable and offers a way to pass through this area, independent of road traffic, and also a relatively comfortable way to reach the train station.

The idyllic R52 cycle path on the Ragnitz takes you out of the city into the countryside. It goes from the Opernring, in the center of Graz, out into the Hönigtal near Kainbach.

The church is dedicated to the great Salzburg bishop and missionary, St. Rupert and was built in 1959/1960 according to plans by civil architect DI Bernhard Jäger. The solemn consecration of the church was attended by diocesan bishop Dr. Josef Schoiswohl am 1st Sunday of Advent, November 27, 1960. DI Jäger also designed the altar made of Mainz sandstone.
