The alpine hut on the Angerkaralm is open from June to October. In the other months there is a drinks machine. It is located in the Osterhorn group on the way to Gamsfeld 2027, a destination that is very popular in winter (ski tours and snowshoes) and summer. Great rest area with a beautiful terrace.

The longer, never too difficult Intersport via ferrata leads to the Großer Donnerkogel. The highlight is the roughly 40 m long ladder. The descent usually takes the normal route.

This is the stupidest piece of “mountain sports” I have ever seen. Instagram sensationalism with no connection to nature. #donnerkogel Yes, nature is a big playground for me too. But that doesn't mean you have to set up playground ladders. What do you all mean?
