It's possible to cycle to the hut (with or without electricity). There's really no point in going from the hut to the lake, as it's only a few minutes' walk. You'd have to push your bike to get to the upper lake, which is even less of a benefit.

Pleasant tour to the Göriacher Hüttendorf with only 400hm from Tamsweg and at the Hansalhütte the prices are really ok.

Lovely hut with highly recommended cuisine, very friendly service and ideal for overnight stays. (with sauna) Above the hut there are two beautifully situated mountain lakes - the Lower and Upper Landawirsee with a fantastic view of Hochgolling.
