well worth a visit the church of Burnham Overy is on an elevated site overlooking the river Burn,which was tidal and navigable as far as the mill 300 yards SW of the church at on point there was a major port here as the port silted up the port moved downstream to Overy Staithe. Views across the River Burn estuary and the Overy Marshes. You can't actually see the sea, but you can see where the sea is!

Burnham Market is a quintessential north Norfolk town, with a lovely village square, boutique shops and some great pubs. A fine place to stop for a rest (or a beer) on a Norfolk ride.
