「The WU」は、HochwechselのWetterkoglerhausからアルムを越えてMarienseer Schwaigの方向へ延びる、約2.7キロメートルのシングルトレイルです。根、石、カーブ、そして開けたアルプスの牧草地を通り抜けるこのトレイルは、Wechsel地域特有の特に景色の良い風景の中を走ります。元々はマウンテンバイク用トレイルとして設計されているため、交差点ではサイクリストや他の道を利用する人々への特別な注意が必要です。

標高1,262メートルのマゼンベルクは、中央アルプスから東に向かう最後の高い支脈です。その細長い尾根は、北のフォラウ盆地と東のラフニッツ谷を隔てています。

At the Vorauerhof, you can indulge not only in typical Styrian and Austrian specialties, but also in international delicacies and new creations. Daily menus, homemade cakes and desserts, and a wide selection of ice cream from Easter until the end of September complete the culinary offerings. The restaurant seats approximately 40 people. The light-filled conservatory, with space for 50 people, is particularly popular and perfect for small celebrations. During the summer months, guests can enjoy a centrally located beer garden. For larger celebrations or groups, such as weddings, christenings, birthdays, or company parties, the banquet hall (for approximately 110 people) provides the perfect setting. Following the philosophy "The future has tradition," the restaurant is constantly evolving while remaining true to its ancestors' original traditions and placing great emphasis on a personal touch. The Kutscherwirt is a family-run business steeped in tradition. The Romirer family takes great care of their guests at the Hotel & Restaurant Kutscherwirt with joy and dedication. The Kutscherwirt boasts a tradition spanning over 300 years. The collaboration between young and old within the team and the friendly atmosphere are fundamental and particularly important to the family. In 2015, the Hotel & Restaurant Kutscherwirt reopened after a 10-month renovation. The flat roof structure was utilized to create a magnificent sun terrace. This highlight offers breathtaking panoramic views stretching as far as the Wechsel mountain range. Another highlight is the renovated wine cellar, where wine tastings reveal hidden gems not found on the wine list. A new wellness area was created on the lower level, featuring a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, steam room, experience showers, massage rooms, and a relaxation room overlooking the town of Vorau.
