Petersfield is an attractive market town on the historic coach road from London to Portsmouth. Today, it is a marvellous base for adventures in the vibrant South Downs National Park. The town itself has a number of excellent cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as plenty of places to rest your head at night. The mainline station can whisk you off to London in just a little over an hour.
