There hasn't been any management of trees and shrubs along the Greenway since 1968, so they have cut down the self seeding sycamore to give the other plants a chance to grow. The foliage cuts out so much light from the ground level. At least they have a reason to cu the trees down...

From the bridge there were so many yellow water lilies and reeds, wild life was abundant...

It's a nice way to get through Rugby, with wildlife is great...

In the distance is Standford Hall, with a campsite to one side and what looks like a deer park...

Along here you will find the Greenway or disused railway, really nice gravel route takes you a long way to Draycote Water...

Along this section there are different wild flowers, with one section seems to be a wet land with bull rushes with the birds feeding. Worth a visit, could get a bit boggy when wet but there seems to be more gravel these days.
