This picturesque stretch of gravel trail runs along the Northampton Arm of the Grand Union Canal, offering charming views of canal boats and historic bridges to admire along the way.

This has changed and only opens occasionally

Go a few hundred yards into the village and visit the Sun Inn (a proper pub with sensible prices) instead of the Cromwell

Nice track down to ford / stream, Watch your speed sharp right turn into the ford, very deep in places 👍

Superb traditional village pub which has managed to retain it's character. Great place in the summer as the beer garden is nothing if not unique! Definately worth a quick beer or snack even if it's just to sit in the garden next to the bottle tree or one other the unusual additions. It's an amazing place in the autum and winter when it's cold outside as there is a roaring open fire and a couple of snug areas with books to read and countless pictures of the village and characters that live there.

The woodland of Everdon Stubbs is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and covers over 29 hectares, there are multiple points of entry/exit along Stubbs Road, howerver the main entrance as at this point and has a small parking area that could accomodate 8-10 cars (approximately).
